Card Football a hit at Gen Con Indy!

August 22, 2005

CSE Games and Card Football Premiere Edition made its first public appearance in the United States the weekend of August 18-21 at Gen Con in Indianapolis, IN. Dubbed “The Best Four Days of Gaming!”, Gen Con attracts over 25,000 gaming fans and collectors per show.

Gen Con Indy was a huge success for CSE Games, as the booth was surrounded by enthusiastic gamers all weekend long. Attendees had a chance to sit down and play a few quarters of Card Football, and the response far exceeded expectations.

Ken Foushee called the game “one of the best demos I’ve done in a while.” Others called the game “by far the most creative new game at the show.” Nick Polemitis stated simply (and loudly) “I love this game!”

Card Football Premiere Edition, which is set for release in fall 2005, is built on the standard 54-card playing deck. Using CSE Games’ D54 Game System (the application of multiple functions to each card in a 54-card deck), Card Football Premiere Edition simulates all of the best action of the sport on the gridiron.

“To say we were happy with the reception we got in Indianapolis this weekend would be a major understatement,” said Fabio Del Rio, Vice-President of CSE Games. “The response was beyond our expectations. We are very encouraged and excited that Card Football was so well received.”
