NES ‘Stadium Events’ Video Game Sells for $800K?

Just days after a sealed copy of Stadium Events, an extremely rare Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) game sold for $41,300 USD and shattered the collectible video game price record, another sealed copy has sold for an astounding $800,200 – or so it appeared.

Unfortunately for the seller, it is largely believed that the $800K bid was a joke. The previous $41,300 sale was the highest known price commanded for an NES video game to date.
